We use two types of bean, Arabica and Robusta.

The Arabica bean is said to produce better coffee than any other bean. They have a lower level of caffeine and are milder with a more aromatic flavour.

Our Arabica beans are from Central & South America.

The Robusta beans have approximately twice the caffeine of the Arabica and are a much stronger taste. The traditional Italian full bodied espresso coffees use Robusta which is also good at providing a great crema.

Our high quality Robusta beans are from India.
